After weeks of going through material, fine-tuning, re-touching, many phone calls, testing and finally implementing, I’m glad to announce that the little SHOP is now open! At the moment offering a small selection of limited edition archival prints, there will more offered in the future together with other interesting fun items. These are some of my favorite images, and I’ve spent quite a bit of time on finally making them look the way I wanted.. on print. The first runs look great! I hope you’ll like the results as well.

The Visionair publication has always been known for its playful and luxurious translation of current fashion and art industry. But for their holidays 55th issue they went a quirky step further with a package of 11 “surprises” intricate pop-up albums by 11 renowned photographers and image makers such as Sophie Calle, Andreas Gursky, Mario Testino, Steven Klein, Yayoi Kusama and more. It’s a funny and amusing idea, and if someone can manage to poke fun at the industry and do it with flair, surely the people at Visionair can.
Probably many will find this creation a silly joke, as did I, but these days smiles on my face are in very short supply and are most definitely welcome!

quoted from the website:
“Impossible b.v. has been founded with the concrete aim to re-invent and re-start production of analog INTEGRAL FILM for vintage Polaroid cameras. Therefore Impossible b.v. has acquired the complete film production equipment in Enschede (NL) from Polaroid, has signed a 10-year lease agreement on the factory building; and has engaged the most experienced team of Integral Film experts worldwide.
The Impossible mission is NOT to re-build Polaroid Integral film but (with the help of strategic partners) to develop a new product with new characteristics, consisting of new optimised components, produced with a streamlined modern setup. An innovative and fresh analog material, sold under a new brand name that perfectly will match the global re-positioning of Integral Films.”
seems like good news to all pola-lovers!

After a recent stumble into this rather cute photo of Pingping and Svetlana Pankratova, the world’s shortest man and leggiest woman respectively, it made me think back to my childhood fond memories of Guinness world records.
Those amazing facts and discoveries that warmed our hearts and made us smile.
You remember Robert Wadlow – the tallest man in the world (268 cm)? Or the beautiful SR-71 “Blackbird” world’s fastest jet aircraft (reaching Mach 3), or even the Petal – the world’s smallest camera (circa 1974). Of course there
