Stockholm Marathon 2013

I never participated or followed a marathon before, let alone traveled to another country for it! But couple of weeks ago that was exactly what happened. Joined by some mates, we decided to go visit Stockholm to support our participant friend and take the opportunity in enjoying this beautiful city. 1st of June turned out to be the only rainy day on a perfectly summery weekend, but the day was fully attended. Over 15,000 participants and a large cheering crowed covering the city center streets and the stadium. We managed to find a nice place at a near by restaurant for a lunch and drinks while following the Marathon progress from the pro runners at the front to the amateurs struggling at the end. It was fun.
